Finance Officer
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join the team at Energy Coast UTC. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial administration, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.
Salary – Cumberland Council Scale 9B to 10B for 38 hours = £35,241 – 37,100

Engineering Technician
The successful candidate will support the running of the engineering and civil engineering department by providing effective and efficient support, with responsibility for preparing and maintaining resources within the department.
Salary – £26,240 full time equivalent
Hours – Flexible. Full or part-time available. Minimum 16 hours.

Compliance Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for Health and Safety, and be the UTC’s Data Protection Officer. The role is 1-day per week full year or term-time only. Onsite working is essential for this role. Full training provided
Salary – £5,929 term-time only or £7,224 full-year
Hours – 1-day per week (7.6 hours) flexible between Monday-Friday

Criminal self-disclosure
All shortlisted candidates will be provided with a criminal history self-disclosure form to complete and return no later than one day prior to interview. Failure to return the self-disclosure will result in the interview being withdrawn.
Once the self-disclosure form is received in school, any disclosed information will be checked to ensure it is relevant. Relevant criminal history will be shared with the chair of the recruitment panel prior to interview to allow time to assess relevance and agree what questions should be asked during the interview process.
