At our college, a positive culture begins with kindness, respect and a shared commitment to learning. We expect every student to arrive on time, enter lessons calmly, sit in their allocated place and wear the correct uniform. These simple routines help create a settled, purposeful environment where everyone feels safe, valued and ready to succeed.
In lessons, students are expected to engage fully, complete their Knowledge Recall and give their full attention when a teacher is speaking. Respectful conversations are encouraged, helping students listen to different viewpoints, contribute confidently and build positive relationships with staff and one another.
Our expectations are clear and consistent, giving every student the structure and support they need to thrive. By making these nine positive habits part of everyday college life, we create a community in which good behaviour, strong learning and personal success go hand in hand.
